Jay is a Partner in the Firm who has focused his practice on business and commercial litigation. Jay received his law degree from Indiana University – Indianapolis Law School in 1991, where he graduated Cum Laude and where he was an Articles Editor of the Indiana Law Review. He is an Evansville, Indiana native and a 1987 graduate of Marquette University where he received his undergraduate degree in philosophy. Jay has represented businesses, construction contractors and developers, professionals, individuals and government agencies in complex business, commercial, construction, eminent domain and governmental cases. He has tried over 20 jury trials. He is also a certified Civil Mediator. He is admitted in the state and federal bars of both Indiana and Illinois. He is also involved in various community activities.
