Cory represents management in employment matters including defending discrimination claims filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and other similar state agencies, and defending discrimination lawsuits in state and federal courts. Cory also assists companies in wage and hour compliance issues, OSHA audits and appeals, and advises management teams on compliance with numerous employment laws including the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, health care reform legislation, and other numerous federal and state employment laws.
Cory's practice also includes assisting clients in drafting and enforcing non-compete and confidentiality agreements, and litigating cases in the area of general civil litigation. He also counsels employers in immigration issues including lawfully employing foreign workers by securing workplace visas.
